About the Role

Diverse Learners Speech Therapy Services is seeking an SLP or CDA to support a growing caseload of children and families seeking neurodiversity-affirming care.

This role is ideal for clinicians who:

  • are passionate about relationship-based, child-led therapy

  • enjoy working with neurodivergent children and their families

  • are looking for flexible, part-time work with room to grow

Services may be provided:

  • in-home within your local area

  • virtually across Ontario

The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of experience working with neurodivergent children and families

  • Lives in Peel or York Region and is comfortable providing in-home or virtual services

  • Works confidently and independently while valuing collaboration

  • Has experience or interest in working with preschool and school-age children

  • Has experience or interest supporting minimally speaking children and AAC users

  • Aligns with neurodiversity-affirming, relationship-based, and trauma-informed care

  • Values flexibility and autonomy in managing your schedule and caseload

Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment (SLPs), treatment, and consultation using formal and informal approaches

  • Support caregiver coaching and parent involvement in therapy

  • Manage your own schedule and caseload

  • Collaborate with other professionals as needed
