4. Do you offer parent coaching?
Yes! We offer virtual and in-home parent coaching for families who want to build skills and confidence in supporting their child's communication and learning at home. This is especially helpful for parents of young children, autistic children, or those with complex communication needs.
5. Do you offer support to children who are non-verbal, minimally verbal, and/or use an iPad to communicate?
Yes. We have a strong interest and experience supporting children who use AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). We help families explore AAC options, choose software or systems that best fit their child, and learn how to support functional, meaningful use at home. I also coach parents in becoming confident communication partners and facilitators.
6. Do you only work with Autistic children?
No. While we have a strong interest and background in supporting autistic and neurodivergent children, we also work with neurotypical children — particularly late talkers, children with reading and writing challenges, and those with speech or language delays. Every child we work with receives individualized support based on their needs, strengths, and family goals.
7. What ages of children do you work with?
Alysha primarily supports children from birth to age 5, focusing on early communication, play, regulation, and social development. That said, she continues to work with children beyond age 5 — especially those with ongoing communication or literacy needs. Many families choose to continue services with me through the early school years and beyond.
Abi and Olivia focus their practice on supporting school age children, from kindergarten to grade 8.
